Free prize Draw TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

1. The Promoter The promoter is Mike Colwill Driver Training (MCDT).

2. Eligibility

  • The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 17 or over.

  • Entrants must be currently learning to drive or planning to start within the next 6 months.

  • Employees of MCDT, their family members, or anyone professionally connected with the draw are not eligible to enter.

3. How to Enter

  • Entry is free. No purchase is necessary.

  • To enter, participants must visit mcdt.co.uk and complete the official entry form, including a correct answer to the driving theory question.

  • Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

  • While social media engagement (following/tagging) is encouraged for the growth of the community, the official entry is recorded via the website form.

4. The Prize

  • The prize is the cash equivalent of one (1) standard driving lesson, capped at £40.00.

  • The prize will be paid via bank transfer once the winner has completed the verification process (see Clause 7).

  • The prize is non-transferable (unless gifted to a specific named learner) and no other alternatives will be offered.

5. Winner Selection

  • One winner will be chosen at random from all eligible entries that provided the correct answer to the theory question.

  • The draw will be performed via a random computer-generated process on [Insert Date].

6. Winner Notification

  • The winner will be notified via email within 48 hours of the draw.

  • The winner must provide a valid UK postal address to receive their physical MCDT Winner’s Gift Card.

7. Prize Claim & Verification (Social Proof)

  • To maintain the integrity of the draw and provide social proof to the community, the winner is required to:

    1. Provide a photo/selfie of themselves with their MCDT Winner’s Gift Card in front of their instructor’s car (or a car they are learning in).

    2. Provide a short video (5–10 seconds) confirming their win.

  • By claiming the prize, the winner grants MCDT a non-exclusive license to use these images/videos for promotional purposes on social media and the MCDT website.

  • Once the photo/video is received, the bank transfer will be processed within 3 working days.

8. Forfeiture

  • If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, MCDT reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

9. Data Protection and Publicity

  • Any personal data relating to entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation (GDPR) and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.

  • Entrants may opt-in to the MCDT newsletter. This is optional and does not affect the chances of winning.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • MCDT is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical failures, or unauthorized intervention that may affect the entry process.
