  • Location Data: Your City or Town (used to announce winners and match learners with instructors).

  • Prize Fulfillment Data: For competition winners, we collect your postal address (to send your Gift Card) and bank details (to process prize transfers).

  • Media Data: Photos or videos provided by competition winners for the purpose of verifying the prize draw to our community.

2. How We Collect Your Data

We collect data through:

  • Direct interactions on mcdt.co.uk.

  • Inquiry forms for driving lessons.

  • Entry forms for the National Prize Draws.

  • Opting in to our MCDT Newsletter.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for the following legal reasons:

  • To Perform a Contract: To manage your driving lessons or to administer a prize draw you have entered.

  • Legitimate Interests: To share winner "Social Proof" (photos/videos) on our social media channels to demonstrate the integrity and transparency of our competitions.

  • Consent: To send you our newsletter featuring driving tips, theory support, and future offers. You can withdraw this consent at any time.

4. Media Consent & Social Proof

By entering our national prize draws, you acknowledge that winners are required to provide a photo/video as part of the prize claim process. MCDT retains a non-exclusive license to share this media on our website and social media platforms (Facebook/Instagram/TikTok) to announce the winner and promote future draws.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share information with:

  • Instructors: To facilitate your lessons.

  • Service Providers: Secure platforms for email marketing (e.g., Squarespace/Mailchimp) and banking (for prize payouts).

  • Legal Authorities: Only if required by law.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Contestants: If you enter a draw but do not join our newsletter, your data is deleted 2 years after a prize is claimed.

  • Subscribers: We keep your data as long as you remain a member of our community. Every email we send includes an "Unsubscribe" link.
