Frequently Asked Questions
-
Unlike a standard lottery, these are skills-based competitions. To enter, you must successfully answer a driving theory test question. This ensures that all participants are engaging with the essential knowledge needed to be a safe driver before they even get behind the wheel.
-
The competitions are designed for anyone aged 18 or over.
-
Absolutely. I am committed to making this opportunity accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. A free postal entry route is available for every draw. This means a local resident could potentially win a full driving course for the price of a single stamp.
-
These are specialized vouchers I donate to our local charity partners. They are specifically intended for individuals who face significant hurdles—such as high anxiety or severe financial hardship—that would otherwise prevent them from ever starting their driving journey.
-
As a DVSA Approved Instructor, road safety is my priority. By including a theory question, the competition remains a "test of skill," which is not only a fun way to learn but also ensures we are following the correct UK prize draw regulations.
-
If you win the draw and have met the entry requirements, I will contact you directly via email to arrange collection or delivery of the prize
-
I am always looking to expand my "Barrier-Breaker" partnerships. If you represent a local youth organization or community charity, please reach out via the contact form. I would love to discuss how we can work together to help your service users gain independence.

It’s simple! If you are an existing student and you refer a friend to M.C.D.T., you will receive one full driving lesson for free. Just ensure they give me your name when they book their first lesson. Once they’ve completed that first session, your free credit is applied!
-
Not at all. You can refer as many friends, family members, or colleagues as you like. For every person who starts their training with me, you get a free lesson. Some students have earned multiple free sessions this way!
-
Your free lesson credit is activated as soon as your referred friend completes and pays for their first lesson. You can then use it for your next scheduled session.

Most intensive courses force you into expensive, pre-set packages (like 30 or 40 hours) regardless of your skill level. My approach is designed to save you money. We start with a 1-hour assessment to see exactly what you need. If you only need 10 hours to be test-ready, I won’t make you pay for 30.
-
An intensive day consists of 8 hours of drive time. We include a 30-minute lunch break, and you can request additional breaks whenever you need them. The goal is to maximize your learning while ensuring you stay sharp and safe.
-
No. If you have booked an intensive course leading up to your test, the use of the tuition vehicle for the actual test hour is free of charge. You only pay for your tuition time.
-
Yes! The £40 Assessment Drive is an investment in your training plan. If you go ahead and book the intensive days I recommend during that assessment, I will deduct the £40 from your final course balance.
-
Because intensive days take up a large block of my diary, they must be booked at least 5 weeks in advance. However, you can book your initial 1-hour Assessment Drive at any time.
