Intensive Training

Terms & Conditions: Intensive Training Days

To ensure the best possible service and availability for all students, the following terms apply to all Intensive Training bookings:

1. Bookings & Payments

• Advance Notice: Intensive days must be booked and confirmed at least 5 weeks in advance of the training date.

• Assessment Credit: The £40 Assessment Drive fee will be deducted from the final balance only if the student books the full number of days recommended during the assessment.

• Payment: Full payment for the intensive course must be settled 14 days prior to the start of the course to secure the diary space.

2. Course Structure & Breaks

• Tuition Time: Each intensive day consists of 8 hours of driving tuition.

• Break Times: A mandatory 30-minute lunch break is included. Any additional rest breaks requested by the client during the day will be deducted from the 8-hour tuition total to ensure road safety and instructor well-being.

• Test Day: Use of the tuition vehicle for the practical driving test is provided free of charge, provided the test is taken at the end of a booked intensive period.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Notice Period: Because intensive days take up a significant portion of the instructor's diary, a minimum of 14 days notice is required to cancel or reschedule an intensive day.

• Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within the notice period may result in a loss of the course fee or a rescheduling fee.

• Instructor Right to Withdraw: M.C.D.T. reserves the right to withdraw the tuition vehicle for the practical test if the instructor deems the student’s driving to be a danger to themselves or the public.
