Intensive Training
-
Don't pay for hours you don't need.
Most "crash courses" force you into fixed 30 or 40-hour packages. At M.C.D.T. Driver Training, I believe every learner is different. My intensive format is designed to save you money by identifying exactly how much training you need to become a safe, competent driver—nothing more, nothing less.
How It Works: The 3-Step Success Path
1. The Assessment Drive (£40)
Before booking a course, we start with a 1-hour Assessment Drive.
I evaluate your current skills and confidence.
At the end, I give you a professional recommendation on how many training days you actually need (1, 2, or 3+).
Bonus: If you book the recommended training, the £40 assessment fee is deducted from your course total!
2. The Intensive Day Schedule
Each Intensive Day is a deep-dive into your driving skills:
8 Hours of Driving Time: Maximum progress in a single session.
Lunch & Breaks: A scheduled 30-minute lunch break, with additional breaks available at your request to ensure you stay fresh and focused.
Individualised Planning: We focus specifically on the areas identified in your assessment.
3. Test Day Integration
We schedule your intensive days to lead directly up to your practical test date.
Free Car Hire for Test: I do not charge for the car hire on the day of your test. You only pay for your tuition time; the test hour itself is free of charge.
Booking Requirements
Advance Booking: To ensure availability and proper planning, intensive days must be booked at least 5 weeks in advance.
Flexible Assessments: The 1-hour assessment drive can be scheduled at any time directly with me.
The M.C.D.T. Advantage
"My goal is to save you money. By assessing your skills first, we ensure you aren't booking 20 hours of tuition if you only need 16. It’s about being safe and competent on the road in the most efficient way possible." — Mike Colwill
